Living a Life filled with Positive Affirmations

These are just a small example of the immense amount of positive affirmations you can say to yourself every day. Go ahead. Give it a try!
Now how did it feel?
It is a known fact that positive affirmations change the way you approach your day-to-day, and can be an uplifting routine to keep you on track. But what exactly are they? Well, positive affirmations are statements and mantras that you repeat to yourself every day. And when you repeat them enough, you begin to believe them and use that energy to make positive changes in your life. Therefore, they are used to overcome negative thoughts, especially those that you direct to yourself.

Keep you from doubting yourself, while giving you strength.
Remind you of everything you’re capable of accomplishing.
Help you to believe in yourself and grow your confidence.
I can say through my own experience that positive affirmations truly help! Imagine being the type of personality that is extra critical to oneself (that’s me). And quite unfortunately, I tend to be my own worst enemy. So with that knowledge, I lean towards critiquing myself on a daily basis. Which by no means is healthy! Trust me.
So what did I do?
I decided one day that I should be better to myself and say positive affirmations on a daily basis not only to build my inner strength, but to push away the negative thoughts that like to simmer in the background waiting for their moment to shine. And so I did. And let me tell you, I’m thankful that I did.
Not only do I feel a sense of empowerment by saying them, but they help me to see myself in a brighter light. I now migrate towards a “You can do this. Don’t give up!” mentality. I find warmth in “You’re stronger than you think.”

There is nothing bad or negative about boosting your own confidence, and believing in yourself without any doubts. Positive affirmations are meant to give you that push you need for yourself.
